The Dogs world was turned upside down on December 7th, 2007 when a human baby was brought into the family.  Gretchen and Sequoia love their new baby brother.  They love to give him kisses, and both want to protect him.  Wilhelmina has surprisingly accepted him as part of the family. You can see his site at:

Gretchen was a skinny stray who had foxtails all over her.  She was rescued by a family in Spanish Fork, but they had 3 dogs already, and needed to find her a good home.  I did rescue work so she saw one of my pet ads on the internet and called me.  We went to pick her up on August 19th, 2005. Originally we wanted to pick her up and get her spayed and help find her a home. The family called her Roxy, but when we saw her, Mike looked at me and called her 'Gretchen', I knew she was ours right then.  Since she was a stray, we don't know her Birthday.  We think she was between 6-9 months when we got her.

Sequoia's Birthday is on September 14, 1996
